Two of our girls now on the website share a life that offers specific hardship and concern.  Both are being raised by mothers who are prostituting themselves.

Meet Teddy – eight years old with a smile that says,” everything is wonderful!”  Only it is not.  

We are not 100% certain but believe that the mother “entertains” guests in the one, small, rented room they live in, exposing Teddy to prostitution and potential danger. 

Now, near the end of first grade, she is outspoken, likes explaining things, and the teachers say she tries to answer every question the teacher asks. She is a born leader and “captain” of her class – helping to keep other students orderly (and reporting those who break the rules). It is clear she loves school and loves being at school.

Teddy has two siblings. Each of the three children has a different father.  Teddy is the youngest and the only one who lives with her mother.

Let us say this clearly:  This child needs a sponsor so she can board at school and lead a happy and safe life and be protected as much as possible, at least during the school year.

Give her a chance, and she will love you and will remember throughout her entire life what you did for her.
